writing week 5 term 3 why the haka is good for me
I think the haka is good for me because...
Firstly doing the haka in the morning makes you more energetic and awake. The haka was known as a war challenge or war cry in Maori culture the men would traditionally do it before war. so their is a meaning to do it.
secondly doing the haka is a form of respect to the Maori culture and the words you say in hakas also have a meaning to it.
the haka is good for you because you learn a new a new language and doing the haka typically represent a display of a tribe's pride, strength and unity. Actions include foot stamping,tongue protrusions and rhythmic body slapping to accompany a loud chant.
